




| After the Funeral Death Registeration Any death occuring in Hospital, Hospice or Nursing Home is registered by that institution. If a death occurs at home, the home owner is responsible for registering the death with the local Registrar. Death Certificates The local office of the Death Registrar is at St. Camillus' Hospital, Shelbourne Road, Limerick.The office is open Mon - Fri. 9.30 - 12 noon and 2.00 - 4.00, phone: 061-483763. As this office can be very busy, we recommend their postal service or attending early in the morning. Death Grants We supply forms for applying to the Dept. of Social Welfare for the death grant. This grant is available to the deceased, his/her spouse or child who has sufficient RSI contributions and is an entitlement grant. There is also a grant available from the Health Board. This grant is based on the means of the person responsible for the payment of the funeral account. Application must be made with the Community Welfare Officer for your area. More info Survivors Pension Application for Widow/Widower pensions may be made at your Post Office. Acknowledgements The insertion on newspaper or radio of notices is easily arranged. This can also include notice of the Months Mind Mass if desired. Printing Acknowledgement and Mortuary (In Memoriam) Cards can be printed to order from an array of samples. Headstone Services The inscribing of names and cleaning of stones or the erection of new stones can be arranged through our aftercare service. Cleaning and Maintenance A cleaning and maintenance service for graves is also available. Grave Markers and Vases We can supply temporary grave markers for new graves or grave vases and memorials for visiting graves.
