John-Mark Griffin
John-Mark is the Managing Director and a fifth-generation funeral director at his family business, Griffin’s Funerals. Building on the experience passed down through generations and guided by strong family values, he brings a thoughtful and modern perspective to the funeral industry, supported by a professional background in design and business management.
His approach blends creativity, organisational skills and a keen attention to detail, enabling him to support families with compassion, dignity and respect during a difficult time.
In addition, John-Mark serves as a board member of the Irish Association of Funeral Directors and has been selected to take up the role of President in November 2026.
Antoinette Barry
With over 30 years of experience at management level, Antoinette has honed her skills in professional, people-focused roles across age-related services and sectors closely aligned with the funeral industry. She has also served on the board of a Limerick-based credit union. Her natural warmth, compassion, and civic-minded approach make her a natural fit to hold a senior position within Griffin’s.
Drawing on both personal and professional experiences with bereavement, Antoinette gently guides and supports families through some of life’s most emotionally challenging times. She is deeply committed to ensuring that every aspect of the funeral arrangements, whether before, during or after the funeral, is handled with considerate professionalism and respect.

Preparation Team
Our embalming team, led by Clare Haran combines experience, energy and compassion to ensure every loved one is presented with the utmost dignity and respect. We listen carefully to each family’s wishes, paying attention to every detail.
